This week's photographer spotlight highlights the work of John Devries.
Devries is a wildlife photographer from Kent, UK, whose works have been widely published and exhibited. In 2006, he even made a short TV show with
the BBC about wildlife photography.

Devries's photographs highlight the vast number of wild animal species he has encountered on his adventures close to home and around the globe. |

Not only do I love what he photographs, but I also love the way he photographs it. Each of the animals seem to be carefully and deliberately framed so that they are clearly emphasized. |

I find his use of color, angle, and depth of field to be absolutely brilliant. |

Even his macro work is fantastic! ((I think macro-photography fascinating.)) | |||||
Having seen some of Devreis's shots of wildlife, I'm feeling a little inspired to check out some local conservation areas and state parks to see what kind of wildlife I can find.
